Job Description
- Provide L1 support for clients on 24*7 basis.(On-call roster for out of business hours).
- Engage with Engineered Systems patching, updating the SR and customer.
- Providing support for backup related tasks and implementation.
- Install, configure, test, monitor and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools where needed.
- Conduct system/Database health checks and reports.
- Upgrade/Patching existing systems and servers.
- Responsible for maintaining vendor specific service requests(Eg:Oracle).
- Troubleshoot errors in whole infrastructure including application, server hardware and OS.
- Provide help in Resolving and RCA preparation (Root Cause Analysis)for technical issues.
- Create and maintain documentation on release process, support activities, user manuals, operational procedures, test case design and test reports according to company standards.
- Perform hardware replacement on enterprise4 servers/storage and other equipment's.
- Carryout knowledge transfer activities and train team members.
Requirements
Degree in Information Technology or Computer science
Knowledge of Linux/Unix Systems will be an added advantage
Hands on experience in Datacenter(Virtualization/backup/etc...)solutions will be an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent documentation and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a team environment and to work in an on-call rosterAbout Employer
