Assistant Accountant - Hatton National Bank

• Preparation of periodic financial statements required for external and internal reporting and ensure reporting time lines are complied with
• Ensure compliance with SLFRSs/LKAS, SEC guidelines and CBSL regulations
• Preparation of management reports upon request
• Provide recommendations on financial reporting policies based on accounting rules and regulations
• Preparation of periodic submissions to the Board of Directors
• Coordinate with IT team to get the required information on a timely basis
• Continuously review all SLFRS calculation models and propose suggestions for improvements
• Act as a key member of SLFRS calculation automation process
• Liaise with external and internal auditors in respect of matters relating to internal and external audits
• Liaise with Central Bank of Sri Lanka, CSE and rating agencies and cater to their information needs
