SOUS CHEFS - (Bentota, Galle) We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and fully qualified chefs (all-rounder) to assist in running our kitchens. Our villas features high quality cuisine. The ideal candidate should be a bright, enthusiastic and passionate Chefs who also should be independent, hardworking and reliable. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications • City & Guilds diploma or equivalent Diploma or NVQ advanced Level in professional cookery and culinary arts. • 04 years experience in managing a villa kitchen, setting menus and food pricing, Ordering and monitoring supplies. • Manage cost controls and control expenditures for the account • Assist in planning and creating menus • Been able to converse in English is a must, both oral and written • Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated by culinary expertise. • Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company • Prepare and service all food items according to Taru Villas recipes and standards • Ensure consistency in taste and presentation of all food items. • Have the ability and flexibility to work in all areas of the kitchen such as hot & cold line • Willing to work late hours is a must
