Deputy General Manager - Human Resources - Brandix Intimate Apparel

As the Deputy General Manager-Human Resources, you will be reporting to the CEO of the SBU with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer of Brandix.you will be responsible for working with the Group HR team to formulate the SBU HR strategy that includes all critical processes in the employee life cycle with a clear road-map for implementation. You will partner with the business unit to support the achievement of strategic goals, provide guidance on HR-related matters to all functions, and drive the Brandix values and culture across to all employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate and socialize mid-and-long term strategy for the SBU, based on Group directives and the SBU business objectives.
• Meet increasing business demands by scaling the SBU for growth whilst maintaining high performances and delivery standards.
• Ensure hiring of Executives, Staff and Associates is completed in line with the manpower budget and agreed timelines.
• Oversee effective roll-out of the Performance Management Systems at the SBU, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals and the compensation revision process, and ensure strong adherence to approved procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure turnover is within budget and oversee retention strategy for staff and Associates to avoid line stoppages.
• Drive career progression whilst maintaining effective reviews of promotions, succession planning,9 Box, Top & critical Talent to create an internal bench of top talent. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified external candidates.
• Build a motivated and productive workforce through employee engagement in initiatives.
• Support the SBU HR team to achieve Training and Development objectives, monitor budget utilization and lead roll-out for key T&D initiatives.
• Manger HR systems and implementation at the SBU, ensuring availability of up-to-date and accurate information. Provide regular updates to management on progress of planned initiatives, status of agreed deliverables and KPIs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with law, Group policies and labor standards across the SBU, including all plants.
• Align functional teams across the SBU to achieve SBU and Group business objectives.
• Lead and manage the SBU HR team, providing guidance and regular constructive feedback to achieve high standards of performance, quality and productivity.
