Manager - Communication & Media - Berendina Group

Manager-Communication & Media will be responsible to carry out external communication through media to make aware Berendina stakeholders including the general public about Berendina in an effective manner. He/She needs to improve the image and goodwill of the organization with the use of suitable communication techniques, tools & State-of-the-art technology and work extensively with media.

Berendina group is one of the leading poverty alleviation agencies in the non-government sector in Sri Lanka. It consists of, Berendina Development Services(Gte) Ltd, Berendina Employment Center (Gte)Ltd and Berendina micro Investments Company LTD.

Berendina Development Services(BDS)provides various kind of assistance such as housing, drinking water, Sanitation, Health, infrastructure development and Livelihoods to economically active and inactive poorest people in selected rural and plantation areas.

Berendina Employment center(BEC) facilitate rural and plantation youth to find productive employment. They are counseled and encouraged to attend vocational or professional training and also provide scholarships for poor youth for vocational and professional training's. Further BEC provides over 2300 scholarships annually to poor bright advance level students.

Berendina Micro Investments Company LTD(BMIC) is a leading micro finance institution focusing on poor with a clientele over 100,000 with an outstanding loan portfolio of Rs 2.9 Billion.BMIC is the first organization received Central Bank License for Micro Finance industry in Sri Lanka.
